Four simple tips to reverse type 2 diabetes

Do you want four simple tips to reverse your type 2 diabetes? Then watch this 2-minute video with the host of BBC’s Doctor in the House, Dr. Rangan Chatterjee.

The four tips are:

  1. Choose a low-carb, high-fat diet.
  2. Choose the right kind of exercise (weight training, interval training).
  3. Relax and de-stress.
  4. Sleep well, at least 7-8 hours per night.

While I think these are all excellent and important tips, I would add one more: Intermittent fasting. It really can turbo-charge the reversal of your type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Chatterjee said a couple of times to avoid "refined
    carbohydrates" like "potatoes." Exactly how
is potato refined? And what is a "processed"
carbohydrate? So, then, pineapple is okay?
He's just adding to the confusion of the
    general public.

It's carbohydrates, people. Refined or not,
it all turns to sugar in the bloodstream.

I am eating a baked potato today, because potato is the highest potassium food. It will be the first time in about a year. I hope I survive (sic).
