Compliment of the year

One of my idols is Nancy Duarte, the presentation guru who wrote two of my favorite books on the subject. Her company, Duarte Design, developed the presentation for the Oscar winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, the one that won Al Gore a Nobel Prize.

I sent her a tweet about my talk at AHS. It would not have been the same without her books.

I did not expect an answer. I’m sure Duarte gets loads of similar mails every day.

But she did answer.

Duarte’s answer

A big moment for me. And the revolution is spreading.

The Food Revolution – my talk at AHS

Diet Doctor on Twitter

After just three days The Food Revolution has been viewed 7 500 times on YouTube. It’s close to becoming the most viewed lecture from the Ancestral Health Symposium (number one is now at 8 400).

Feel free to keep spreading the message.

  1. Hubby and I have been eating that way the last ~6 months and it makes ALL the difference in the world. Will tweet the presentation soon. Wish the audio was better.

    Thanks a lot!

You are right about the audio of course. I'll see what can be done about that next time.

Interesting that you're already into low carb/paleo. I'm intrigued by the number of super-smart people who are (another example: Nassim Nicholas Taleb). This is a good sign I think that soon a whole lot of people will know all about this. Enough people for a health revolution.

Doc one solution could be that you produce a new video on the subject that is more aimed for youtube viewing. If you need any help, I already got the gear (Cameras, Lights, greenscreens, Mics etc).

And since its for a good cause I can do it for free. :)

I shared Nancy's Ted Talk with the staff in my office. We do a lot of public speaking -for better or worse- and I thought we could use her sage advice. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
