Andreas, I'm wondering if there is research on any possible connection between LCHF and helping enlarged prostate ("BPH") and related symptoms. Or do you have any thoughts on this to share? Are there at least any logical connections between LCHF and slowing the progression of BPH and the associated symptoms (the worst one seems to be frequent night time urination.) Thanks!

I am not Doc but I answer anyway!

There seems to be a link betwen BPH and metabolic syndrome!

"Overall, the results of studies on urological aspects of the metabolic syndrome seem to indicate that BPH and prostate cancer could be regarded as two new aspects of the metabolic syndrome, and that an increased insulin level is a common underlying aberration that promotes both BPH and clinical prostate cancer. 7. I just got hold of Dr. Yudkin's book, Pure, White, and Deadly (http://www.hcvsociety.org/files/Diet/Pure-White-and-Deadly.pdf), which the British version of our American FDA tried to suppress and worked to denigrate the research of a respected scientist for all the worst reasons.

Easy and a lot healthier alternative

    1. buy cold pressed berry juice, non-pasteurized. Cranberries are very good.
    2. buy carbonated water
    3. mix 1/5 juice and 4/5 bubbled water

I guess one big glass contains 2 grams of sugar instead of 20. Still delicious, especially cranberry mix.

  9. If somebody would ask me which bottle in this picture has the most useful content I'd answer "the fire extinguisher on the right. And it's the ONLY useful substance in this picture!" :-)
