Encore Week on the LLVLC Show

Have you listened to the Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show podcasts? If not, you should.

Jimmy Moore has been interviewing the biggest names in diet and health for years now, and his pace is incredible. He is up to about four guests a week. That’s two guests per show. He should probably break them up to make it easier to listen to your favorites (also, attention spans are short on the internet), but I digress.

Every year Jimmy’s readers/listeners vote for five guests from the past year to return for “Encore Week”. This year’s returning guests are: Paul Jaminet, Gary Taubes, Dr. William Davis, Dr. Jack Kruse and, I’m happy to report, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt (that’s me). Click on the names for this year’s shows.

Encore Week will probably appear some time in January (and I’ll make sure to be recorded with excellent sound this time). If you have any questions that you’d like Jimmy to ask us you can mail them to livinlowcarbman@charter.net.

    I couldn't think of a better line up for top five! Looking forward to listening to them all :)

    He's the greatest, but I too wish he would split them up.

    Question.

    To what extent can a ketogenic diet impact on the thyroid and/or adrenal health of a person with sub-clinical thyroid and/or adrenal dysfunction? Or is there too little good evidence to say.

    to get round this problem I use the free program DownloadHelper - Media download Firefox extension it converts the pdf and saves it as a Window Media file (there are other options) which I can then use to playback as many times as I want or I can move the cursor to anywhere in the podcast so avoiding sections I'm not interested in.
  5. Ask and you shall receive my friends. Starting in January 2012, I'll be increasing the frequency of The Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show podcast to three days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with one interview per episode. I was forced to do two interviews twice a week a few months back when I realized I had so many shows in the can already that it would have taken until May 2012 to catch up! OOPS! Nice "problem" to have, but it's nearly remedied now. THANKS for the feedback and I look forward to starting a new LIVE show beginning in January as well called "Ask The Low-Carb Experts" where it will be a call-in podcast on specific topics. CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Eenfeldt on making it on "Encore Week"...should be a lot of fun! Paul, email me that question and I'll ask it of my guests. "Encore Week" will air January 2-6, 2012 by the way.

    @Ted

    Jimmy graciously provides a link to the .mp3 file directly (right above the embedded player.) Once downloaded, any MP3 playing software (like the Windows player you mentioned) can play it.

    I will sometimes copy them over to my MP3 player to listen to as I go to sleep...not that they put me to sleep :)

  7. @validvibe Thanks I thought you had to have an MP3 Player to use those. I'm not that up to date. I'd been using the I Tunes version and Windows media allows me to move through the podcast as I like.
